VASANTHAM, meaning, “Spring” was
established on the 2nd of October 1989 with
six children at Mogappair (East) on the
outskirts of Chennai.
With continuous support from individual
donors, corporates and institutions,
VASANTHAM has now grown to the extent of
taking care of 143 children and adults under its
shelter.
About 60 of them are residential.
Since its inception, VASANTHAM has devoted
its service exclusively for the welfare and
development of the Mentally Challenged
children and adults.
All the different categories of Mentally
Challenged children and adults have
facilities to be
trained at VASANTHAM.
VASANTHAM has qualified and
experienced professionals to train the
special children and adults.
