VASANTHAM, meaning, “Spring” was established on the 2nd October 1989 with six children at Mogappair (East) on the outskirts of Chennai.

With continuous support from individual donors, corporates and institutions, VASANTHAM has now grown to the extent of taking care of 126 children under its shelter.

Half of the children are residential.
